November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month. To help spread awareness, I would like to share some key statistics about lung cancer and some resources to provide your patients:

Lung cancer is one of the most common cancers in the United States1
Non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), the most prevalent type of lung cancer, accounts for about 82% of all lung cancer diagnoses2
It is estimated that over 194,000 people will be diagnosed with NSCLC in 20221,2
About 1 in 2 patients with metastatic NSCLC have biomarkers with approved, emerging, or evolving therapeutics3,4
There are 10 known actionable biomarkers in NSCLC3,4
Approximately 1%-2% of NSCLC cases are caused by abnormal RET genes5
Emerging Therapeutics=currently being studied in clinical trials; Evolving Therapeutics=either proof-of-concept studies or in a very early clinical stage; RET=rearranged during transfection.
Visit our product websites for potential resources for your patients with NSCLC—particularly your RET+ patients.
A list of advocacy groups and patient communities can be found by visiting our patient website.
Also available here are additional resources to share with your patients about biomarker testing in NSCLC.
I would love to set up a quick [pick list] [falsemeetingtruecalltruevideo chat] to learn more about your practice and how you are supporting Lung Cancer Awareness Month.
