Up to 50% of patients with a DEE remain undiagnosed. Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS) is a drug-resistant DEE associated with a wide range of etiologies. The evolving nature of LGS, its seizure types, and EEG patterns make the diagnosis of LGS challenging.
This program will aim to meet the following objectives:
  • Discuss the heterogeneous clinical presentation of and strategies for identifying patients with LGS
  • Appreciate patient/caregiver point of view on the challenges and burden of living with LGS and importance of early diagnosis
  • Differentiate treatment developments in LGS, including the potential role of a 5-HT2 receptor agonist

We hope you will join us for this session as we work together to improve the lives of patients who experience seizures.
